Students wishing to be considered for scholarships and low interest loans are required to file the UCSD Application for Financial Aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and submit copies of student/spouse and parent federal tax returns.

In mid-March of each year, the Health Sciences Financial Aid Application may be accessed by the following applicants:

• continuing medical and pharmacy students
• entering medical applicants who have accepted the school's offer of admissions
• entering pharmacy applicants who have accepted the school's offer of admissions  

These students may download the application from the web, print out the forms which pertain to them, and submit all the required materials to the UCSD Health Sciences Financial Aid Office by the mid-April deadline.

Entering students who are accepted towards the end of March or thereafter, may have four weeks after acceptance to complete and return the application.
