MD/PhD Faculty
The diverse, vibrant community of MD/PhD physician-scientists at UCSD cannot be captured in any one snapshot. Students can choose to work with faculty at UCSD School of Medicine, UCSD General Campus, UCSD Cancer Center, The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), the Scripps Institute of Oceanography (SIO), and the Burnham Institute. Research interests of the faculty are desribed on the websites for the various graduate programs.
MSTP trainees may do research with anyone at UCSD or at an affiliated institute. Many of our faculty are cross-listed in various graduate programs 
- [94 kb]. Anyone on this list could in principle direct an MSTP trainee's graduate research.
