We are pleased to report the recent UCSD School of Medicine Reunion Weekend 2009 (June 19-21) was a terrific success! Over 130 alumni and family enjoyed this opportunity to renew friendships while sharing in the special medical alumni festivities at the Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla. As you know, the expenses of a medical school education continue to skyrocket and support from alumni is extremely important to our students. With gifts from reunion-year alumni to date, we have raised over $33,000 earmarked specifically for support of our current and future medical students. These contributions show not only the pride you have in your alma mater but also show the encouragement you are offering to these students.
