UC San Diego Medical Education Building

For the first time in the forty year history of the School of Medicine, a new teaching and learning facility has been built! Opened in the fall of 2011, this high-tech, state-of -the-art building is a place where instructors teach personalized medicine and leading-edge surgical, robotic and laparoscopic techniques…where students are taught to care for patients with skill and empathy… and where doctors reach across distances to share their expertise with underserved populations through telemedicine.  The result will be better health care throughout the community, state, and nation, delivered by compassionate, highly trained physicians who are innovators, not just practitioners.

School of Medicine Alumni have a once in a life time opportunity to directly impact future generations of medical student through financial support of the Medical Education Building.
