The Office of Educational Computing (EdCom) is a member of the School of Medicine's Division of Medical Education (MedEd). As part of its central administration, EdCom supports projects and provides services that sit at the intersection of teaching, learning, and technology.

We provide Educational Technology (ET) leadership, expertise, infrastructure, and services in support of the Offices of the Dean for Medical Education, Admission & Student Affairs, Undergraduate Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education, and Medical Alumni.

Web Portal: Address Book Update The Medical Student Address Book – accessed via the ‘Contacts’ tab inside the MedEd Web Portal – has been updated. https://meded-portal.ucsd.edu/webportal/index.cfm?curpage=address_book It now contains a checkbox that will include students who are not officially registered for the current quarter – e.g. students on leave of absence. The building’s “skin” is complete. The last of the outer panels are being installed in the courtyard as shown in the picture on the right.
