Accreditation Web Application and Management System

The UCSD Continuing Medical Education Accreditation Web Application and Management System automates much of the process of activity accreditation. The application's front end allows activity coordinators to submit and manage their accreditation application from registration to follow-up stages, while the management system back end allows CME administrators to manage data, provide completion feedback to coordinators and generate dynamic reports for the ACCME. UCSD CME handles a large volume of activities annually (over 900 activities have been accredited in the last five years), therefore automating the labor intensive accreditation process has increased efficiency and allowed the office to better serve its customers. Today, UCSD CME is one of the nation’s most successful CME providers and is able to further its mission by seamlessly integrating technology into administrative processes and educational activities.
