Connecting to MedEd Student Exchange via Mobile Devices

MedEd's Student Exchange server can be accessed using a variety of mobile devices; including Android, Apple, Blackberry, Palm, and Windows Mobile. More details about each of the options is included below.

Android

Android OS devices have the capability to utilize Exchange server functions, including over-the-air push and sync of email, contacts, and calendars.

Blackberry
The MedEd Exchange server does not support the Blackberry Enterprise service. You can still configure your MedEd Student Exchange account using the IMAP protocol. Please try the following directions or stop by the EdCom Office for assistance.

iPhone / iPod touch / iPad

Apple iOS devices also have full Exchange support and synchronization of email, contacts, and calendars.

              - If prompted with an Exchange Server Certificate Error, select "Allow"

 

Windows Mobile/Phone 7

Using ActiveSync, Windows Mobile devices allow direct download of e-mail and calendar from the Exchange server.
