Logging into WebOutlook
- Connect your device or PC to the internet.
- Open a web browser (IE8+ is recommended for optimal use).
- STUDENTS: Type the following URL in the address bar of your web browswer, http://meded-mail.ucsd.edu/weboutlook

STAFF: Type the following URL in the address bar of your web browswer, http://meded.ucsd.edu/weboutlook

home page OR after you log into the MedEd Student WebPortal
, the Student Email link is located on the left side of your class page. - Select your computer privacy type. Use the "Public or shared" choice when you are at public locations (kiosks, libraries, etc.). There is a time-out period associated with this option with computer inactivity. Choose the "Private" selection when you are on your personal desktop or laptop. This option allows the browser to remember your username for future logins and there is no time out period.
- Enter your username in the User Name field (the prefix of your @ UCSD email address - truncated to 8 characters).
- Enter your password in the Password field.
- Click the Log On button to login.
