About UCSD Imprints Copy/Debit Card
A UCSD IMPRINTS Debit Copy/Print Card is necessary to print from any MedEd or library public workstation.
You may purchase a card or add value to an existing card using cash:
You may use a credit card when making your purchase or when adding value to an existing card ONLY at the IMPRINTS Center at the GeiselLibrary
A new Debit Copy/Print card costs $0.50 and requires a minimum outlay of $1 dollar ($0.50 of which is applied to your card balance).
You may keep the card and keep adding money as needed.
Please note: IMPRINTS strongly urges users to write their name, email, or phone number on the back of the Debit Copy/Print card so you can recover your card if lost in any MedEd Student Computing Facility or the libraries.
If you find an Imprints Debit Copy/Print card at any MedEd Student Computing Facility or the libraries, please turn it in at the EdCom Customer Service Desk or library circulation desk. Cards turned in and left unclaimed for 30 days will be recycled for use as "emergency cards".
IMPRINTS Print Refund Policy
IMPRINTS will offer refunds for printer malfunctions such as jammed paper or insufficient ink/toner supply.
IMPRINTS will not offer refunds for blank pages, incomplete pages, and pages that do not print as expected.
When possible, please use the "print preview" feature to minimize printer mistakes and waste.
