Resources Restricted to UCSD-Authorized Users

UCSD resources that are available only on campus or through the UCSD VPN include:

• Electronic Reserves (http://reserves.ucsd.edu)
• Reference Sources (http://libraries.ucsd.edu/refshelf.html)

Among the many restricted resources that become accessible are all MELVYL system/CDL article databases (such as MEDLINE, INSPEC, MLA), hundreds of electronic journals from leading scholarly publishers, Academic Universe, JSTOR, and Web of Science.

Simply download and install a compatible VPN client on your computer with the directions provided on the Virtual Private Network page to access these resources (or gain access via the VPN EasyConnect web interface).
