For student or community volunteers:
We expect a 1 year committment of four hours or more a week. Please email the address below and
request an application, fill it out, and have it signed by a member of the administrative staff of
the Free Clinic Project. We'll also set up a visit and an interview at one of the sites. You'll
need to provide proof of hepatitis and TB screening. Please be aware that we receive
many applications for pre-health professional volunteer positions, and not all potential volunteers
can be accomodated at the time of application.
Examples of roles for premedical student volunteers include language interpretation, data entry, patient
intake, inventory and supply ordering, helping patients access lost-cost or no-cost pharmeceuticals,
and fundraising.
