About RADIG

RADIG was formed in 2008 by a group of first year medical students who were interested in learning more about radiology.

Our purpose is to introduce the incoming classes to the field of radiology by inviting radiologists and residents to share their experiences. We also hope to offer shadowing programs as well as research opportunities with UCSD's leading faculty members for eager medical students. We will place emphasis on educating medical students about the innovative opportunities available in Radiology and on understanding the central role of imaging and radiological intervention in patient care.
