What to Wear

Wear something comfortable and cool. It’s difficult to predict the weather, but June can be very warm. We trust that you will wear the appropriate attire for the commencement ceremony.

In the Event of Inclement Weather

In the unfortunate event of rain, all Commencement activities will be relocated to RIMAC Arena (North end of campus). If the weather is very bad, call the OSA after 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2014. We will have a status report and instructions on voicemail at (858) 534-3700.

Photography

Please let your friends and families know that professional photos will be taken of you as you cross the platform, as well as a portrait behind the stage. These photos will be available for purchase. A class photo will be taken following the ceremony, which you may also purchase (arrangements may be made on commencement day). There will be a designated photo area for guests during the ceremony.

Grad Images will be taking photos during Commencement.  If you choose, you will have the ability to pre-register your address information online. Follow the pre-registration link.  It will bring you to the pre-registration form.  If you pre-register, you will also be given a coupon code for $5 off purchase of $25 or more.

Graduation Announcements

If you would like to purchase personalized graduation announcements, you may order from www.CBgrad.Balfour.com.   They will not print the announcements before Match Day, as they also include your residency program specialty and location. Here is a flyer with pricing information for your reference.

Diplomas

A diploma cover and certificate of participation will be handed to you as you cross the stage. The diploma cover is yours to keep.  The OFFICIAL diploma will be provided after the verification of all fulfilled requirements.
