Mark is a 36y/o accountant with a long history of asthma. His only current medication is albuterol which he uses 3 or 4 days a week for
wheezing. He also has nightime wheezing once every other month or so.
Mark has used steroid inhalers in the past but doesn't like using them
regularly. Question 1. The correct diagnosis is:
The history of wheezing 3-4 times a week, nocturnal symptoms once a month, and FEV1 over 80% is consistent with a diagnosis of mild persistent asthma.
