This ERCP demonstrates a patent pancreatic duct and common bile duct. ERCP can be used both diagnostically and therapeutically. It is frequently used to remove stones in the distal common bile duct. Given this patient's history, physical findings, and laboratory results, this study is not necessary as an initial diagnostic tool.
