HEAD:
Indications:
Coma state, history of head trauma.
Epidural hematomas
Subdural hematomas
Subarachnoid hemorrhage

CHEST:
Used when chest pathology
is not adequately
explained by CXR or exam.
Indicated if suspect a
Pulmonary Embolus which will
not show on chest xray.

ABDOMEN:
History of blunt trauma
with continuing pain.
Abdominal pain with equivocal
physical exam.
Acidosis post surgery
or trauma.
