The UCSD Student-Run
Free Clinic Project, in partnership with the community, provides
accessible, quality healthcare for the underserved in a respectful
environment in which students, health care professionals, patients,
and community members learn from one another.
Who are we?
We are health care
students, professionals and community partners collaborating together
in order to provide a host of medical services that individuals
in San Diego County deserve access to, but may not be able to afford.
If we are unable to directly offer you a service which you require,
we will assist you in finding another means of recieving the care
or treatment. To learn more about the kinds of services we offer
click on the Our Mission - Services
Offered link.
How do we do this?
This is not an easy commitment to undertake,
but with the desire and commitment of our faculty, staff, and students
to offer quality care to underserved individuals, along
with grants provided by various charitable organizations, the support
of the School of Medicine, and in-kind
donations we have been able to see over 5,000 patients since our
inception in 1997. Check the links under Clinic Support for more
information.
