At even higher power, more details of a villus are shown.  Note that the nuclei of the simple columnar epithelium lining the villus are at a similar level and that occasional goblet cells are interspersed.  The dark-staining apical layer represents the microvilli of the brush border.  The lining epithelium surrounds the lamina propria, a loose connective tissue containing capillaries, fibroblasts and other cellular elements of connective tissue.
