Making Medicine Equal

Mission Statement:

Making Medicine Equal is a regional conference to educate students from a variety of professions such as M.D., D.O., nursing, and pharmacy, with the goal of promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and inspire advocacy to address health inequities in our current and future patient populations. Given that we are in an election year, the theme of our conference will center around understanding the realities of our political system, galvanizing political advocacy, and networking with leaders to effectuate change in our professions and advocate on the behalf of our patients.  Our hope is that the conference will equip students and professionals with actionable tools to implement change immediately in their training and careers.

Who will attend:

Medical students, nursing students, physical therapy students, occupational therapy students, graduate students, health professionals and more.
