Making Medicine Equal

Mission Statement:   

Making Medicine Equal is a regional conference to educate students from a variety of professions such as medicine, nursing, and pharmacy, as well as pre-professional students with an interest in health equity. Our goal is to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and inspire advocacy to address health inequities in our current and future patient populations. Our hope is that the conference will equip students and professionals with actionable tools to implement change immediately in their training and careers.

 

Who will attend:

Medical students, nursing students, physical therapy students, occupational therapy students, graduate students, health professionals, pre-health undergraduates, and more. We welcome anyone wishing to learn more about health disparities and how to achieve health equity!

Saturday, January 26, 2019 10 AM - 3 PM

  • Note that openining remarks will begin promptly at 10 AM — please arrive at 9 AM for registration and breakfast!
  • You will be able to choose the two workshops you will attend at registration
