Web Portal - ForumMail

The MedEd Student Web Portal includes >50 discussion forums on a wide variety of topics. Users can easily browse through the forums using the two pull-down menus at the top of the forum page.

Users may choose to subscribe to one or more individual topics or forums and receive an email whenever a new  message is posted to their favorite discussion.

The process to subscribe / unsubscribe  (described below) is very easy and dynamic. Users can turn on / off email notification at any time or suspend email messages while on vacation.  Additionally, users can choose to have the forum email messages delivered to their third party email address in their My Info tab.

NOTE: Students are automatically subscribed to their course Announcements forum and cannot unsubscribe from them.  This setting was requested by the course directors and administration to ensure that students receive any critical/important messages directly to their email.
