Subject Recruitment

One of the goals of the UCSD Comprehensive Research Center in Health Disparities is to promote the participation of health disparity groups in biomedical and behavioral research, prevention, intervention, and dissemination activities. Under the direction of Dr. Georgia Sadler and through the Center's community outreach/health education worker, the UCSD CRCHD has effectively worked with San Diego's diverse communities and UCSD researchers to increase the number of underserved and understudied subjects into research studies.

The primary focus of the Center is to work with CRCHD researchers, however, studies that have a health disparities tie or provide a community screening component are also considered. Complete Guidelines for Study Consideration are provided below.
