Driving directions to Gilman Parking Structure from North/South I-5:

Directions:

From the I-5 Freeway-South

  1. Exit at La Jolla Village Drive.
  2. Turn right onto La Jolla Village Drive.
  3. Turn right onto Villa La Jolla Drive.
  4. Continue up the hill and straight into the Gilman parking structure  (pass the VA hospital on your right)

From the I-5 Freeway-North

  1. Exit at La Jolla Village Drive.
  2. Turn left onto La Jolla Village Drive.
    1. There are four exit lanes. Stay in the second lane from the left.
    2. Once on La Jolla Village Drive, move to the far right lane as you cross the bridge over the freeway.
  3. Turn right onto Villa La Jolla Drive.
  4. Continue up the hill, at the top, drive straight into the Gilman parking structure. (pass the VA hospital on your right)

 

Parking information:

Parking is free on the weekends (Sat-Sun)

Visitor Parking permit will be required on Friday, March 31, 2013 for the "Networking Event" 5-8pm

Visitor permits are hourly passes and can be purchased for 1 to 6 hours or for the entire day at a visitor information kiosk or the main Gilman Parking Office on the 2nd floor of the Gilman Parking Structure (map). Park on Level 5 of the Gilman Parking Structure in the spaces marked with a white V, and place your purchased permit on the car dashboard.

Directions to Medical Education and Telemedicine:

From the Gilman Parking Structure please follow signs to Medical Education and Telemedicine (MET) Building in the UCSD School of Medicie.  Cross the street and walk across parking lot P602 and the ceremonial green lawn to the Medical Education and Telemedicine Building, pass the Stein Clinical Research on your left and walk towards the new clear building.
