Welcome to the Students Interested in Pediatrics website
The Pediatric Interest Group is a student-run group associated with the UCSD Department of Pediatrics. The primary goal is to help students learn more about the field of Pediatrics and explore careers in Pediatrics, from primary care to subspecialities and private practice to academics. Those medical students considering Pediatrics as a specialty, interested in what a Pediatrician does, and want to work with and learn about children are encouraged to participate.
