DOC Doc: How to Become a Doctor or Health Professional

DOC Doc presentations are lively and interactive Q&A sessions that touch on a wide range of important topics.  For approximately 45 minutes, one or two enthusiastic medical students will lead a fun discussion session with your students about the importance of obtaining a degree beyond a high school diploma, how to get into college, and finally, how to become a health professional.  While emphasis is placed on becoming a medical doctor, information about other health professions such as paramedics, nurses, and veterinarians will also be discussed.  Medical student presenters will also share their personal experiences, including how they got to medical school and what a day in the life of a medical student is like.  Many teachers have expressed that DOC Doc presentations are informative, motivational, entertaining, and not to be missed!
